I found 3 irregularities on each of my fines that were worth around R2,400 in total. It would have cost me 8 demerit points towards my driver’s license. "If it hadn't been for your website, I would have just paid my fine and moved on. The prosecutor offered me reduced fine from R1000 down to R 250. I paid the fine as I was actually guilty. Subject : Road Works Fine "Not allowed to Admit Guilt"
"Hey Dave, I got bust doing 129 km/h in a road works area on the N1 highway earlier this year with a laser speed camera. The speed limit was reduced to 80km/h. I got one of those nasty “Not allowed to admit Guilt” go straight to court fine. Using the info in your book, I was able to find irregularities on the fine. After pointing out to AARTO the unlawful errors they made, I was granted my request and got the fine cancelled. I can’t believe how easy it was. I was sure I was busted, It would have cost me thousands. Your book was worth every cent, you should charge more for it. "
